Emma Benoit

Emma Benoit

Mental Health Advocate | Suicide Attempt Survivor | Inspirational Speaker

Emma Benoit is a nationally recognized mental health advocate and inspirational speaker who became passionate about suicide prevention after surviving a suicide attempt in 2017. Her experience resulted in a spinal cord injury and ultimately led her on a journey of recovery, faith, advocacy, and purpose.

Emma shares her story to help others understand that their past does not define their future. She is the subject of the documentary My Ascension, which chronicles her recovery and advocacy while raising awareness about youth suicide.

Since 2021, Emma has shared her message with thousands of people at conferences and events across the country and has appeared on programs including Red Table Talk, Ask Dr. Drew, and The Dr. Phil Show.

Through honesty, vulnerability, and hope, Emma encourages audiences to find strength in difficult experiences, build resilience, and recognize that recovery and a different future are possible.
